ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Susan Godman was born in Arizona in 1962 and has lived a life shaped by profound transformation, resilience, and purpose. After experiencing three near-death events—each deeply impactful, with the third lasting approximately seven minutes—she describes encountering a realm of profound peace and divine presence. During her third death experience, she made the conscious choice to return to her body with a renewed mission: to serve humanity as a physician and healer.
Driven by this calling, Susan pursued her medical education at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, graduating in 1999. She has since built a thriving private practice in Prescott, Arizona, where she has spent decades helping patients heal physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Her personal journey has not been without hardship. Susan has faced and processed deeply buried trauma, including recovered memories of childhood abuse and exploitation. Rather than defining her, these experiences have become part of her path toward deeper compassion, understanding, and service.
Today, Susan continues to embrace her role as a healer with gratitude and purpose, integrating her life experiences into a practice devoted to helping others reclaim health, wholeness, and meaning. Her work reflects a lifelong commitment to transformation—both her own and that of those she serves.
